DIY Beauty Tricks Using Baking Soda
When you are on a budget or looking for a chemical free products baking soda can be great ingredient for your beauty regime. There are certain ways in which baking soda can make you look even more glamorous. So lets get started.
1. For Acne
Mix Organic Apple Cider Vinegar with Baking Soda to treat acne. It can be great if you are breaking out like crazy. It can also be used for spot treatment.
2. To Exfoliate
Mix a table spoon of baking soda with your cleanser and a loofah like scrub to help remove dead skin from your body.
3. As a Deep Cleanser
Mix 2 spoon of oatmeal with 1 spoon of baking soda and add warm water to form a paste. Then rub in circular motion and leave for at least 15 mins for a clearer skin. It’s great for acne or blackhead removal.
4. As a Foot Scrub
It can be a great foot soak by mixing baking soda with warm water. Using a mild brush to scrub away those scales and callus. It helps to loosen up the skin and also soften your feet and thus makes a great pedicure ingredient.
5. To Soothe Sunburns
Mix baking soda with water and dip a cloth to dab it on your sunburn areas. It really helps by cooling them and thereby relieving those painful areas. It can also help to get rid of tans.
6. As a Natural Deodorant
Mix baking soda with water to form a moist paste, then apply it under the arms to prevent sweat stains and body odor.
7. As a Mouth Fresher
Gargle with a spoon of baking soda and water to neutralize all the bad odor .
8. To Whiten Teeth
Mix baking soda with 3 percent hydrogen peroxide to not only clean your teeth but also whiten it. You can also mix baking soda with your regular toothpaste for an extra boost.

Sprinkle a small amount of baking soda to your shampoo on your palm. Shampoo and rinse as usual to get rid of those product build up on your hair and also to make your hair more manageable.

You can make a great hand cleanser by adding baking soda to your liquid hand soaps. You also can get soft supple hands by just applying water mixed with baking soda.

Its also wonderful for your cuticles. When you are doing your manicure sprinkle baking soda around your cuticle and give them a good scrub to soften them . Removing cuticles becomes easier.

Dip your nails in warm water mixed with a table spoon of baking soda daily until you are healed from nail fungus.

The oil and product build up will be on your combs and brushes too. Clean them by soaking in a spoon of baking soda and water and remove those residues for a healthy and lustrous hair.
14. For Itchy Skin
After a bath or shower ease an itch by rubbing some baking soda onto the damp skin. You can also heal an insect bite such as a bee sting by rubbing it.
Also keep in mind not to be too harsh with baking soda on your skin. Use only upward soft circular strokes while using it on your face. You need not do it regularly when you are using it on your face.
